Funny thought
This is a far stretch- but funny :) So, what if- Theresa is Daniel Faraday's mother (remember- time doesn't matter with Dan- therefor age wouldn't matter) and she actually knows the answer to how to stop the Island from traveling, but as she was out- she didn't talk to Des. So Desmond went to Widmore- and Widmore (thinking all he wants to do is get back to the island) is sending Desmond into a trap of sorts- where he will get sucked into going back to the Island, after talking to ben and Ms. Hawking??? LOL- far stretched- I told you- just a thought I had :)

OK, I'm almost 100% sure that Ellie (Ms. Hawkings) and Widmore get together and have a kid who turns out to be Daniel. That means that Desmond's constant is really his brother-in-law. The battle for time is between the Exs: Ms. Hawkings and Widmore. And Ben is working under Ms. Hawkings of course also against her ex Widmore. I also think it would be cool is Penny and Desmond's Charlie turns out to be THE Charlie we knew from the earlier seasons.
ReplyDeleteOK here are a couple more thoughts. In the first episode this season we saw John Locke get shot when he was climbing up to see the drug plane after it crashed. Remember back in season 1 when Locke and Boone first find the drug plane and Locke lost the use of his legs for a short time? I think that's why he did, because he was shot there.
ReplyDeleteAlso We now know that Locke saw the drug plane crash. Well back in season 1, the way he knew where the plane was was because he saw it in a vision. Now we know that vision was actually a memory.
A far out thought...but with Lost is anything really far out there?...what if the casket that Jack saw in season 1, the one that was empty, wasn't really his dad's casket but Locke's casket instead?
Also I think the reason Locke appears dead off the island right now is because his conciousness is travelling. Remember in the Constant when Desmond was travelling his body collapsed while he was gone? That could be why Locke appears dead and why Ben didn't answer Jack's question about whether he was dead or not.
Those are awesome thoughts- I like all of them- especially the one about it being Locke's casket- but we really need to go back and watch that one :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kassie ( and fellow LOST fans) , :)
ReplyDeleteI am almost ashamed to admit this...but I did the casket research just last week ( I know, I'm a nerd :) ) . I had the same thought and was going back and forth from last year's finale and the episode White Rabbit from Season One. Unfortunately, the coffins are different. They look very similar but the casket headliners on the lids are different . One has a very distinct pattern and other does not. Bummer...I was really hoping they were the same. That would have been cool. ( But then again, I could be wrong. The Season 4 disc I was looking is Blu Ray so it might have been clearer. Part of me hopes I am....lol)
Thanks for the comment on my blog, Kassie. :) I will link your blog on my site, if you'd like?

Did anyone see the mobisode of Christian on the island right when the plane crashes telling Vincent "Go find my son... He's got work to do" ... Just pointing out that was strange... since those were "extra" scenes and not deleted ones, Christian would have had to have been resurected immediately upon arrival. Or at least his body been controlled by the island or Jacob.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's his body being controlled by the island- rather his image... how Jack see's him off the island and micheal sees him right before he dies. Yeah- totally think the Island/jacob is controlling him- using his image to get what it wants- same as Claire and Charlie and Ana Lucia.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteBut his body was also missing, as is Claire's... and they are the 2 seen in the cabin, which makes me think there's more to them than the others... the others (Charlie, Ana Lucia, etc) have only been seen by Hurley and only OFF the island. I think Hurley now has an ability similar to Miles' except he can hear AND see them... Miles can only hear them. (Althought Hurley's seem to seek him out whereas Miles' don't)
ReplyDeleteThis is in response to Rick's idea of Des and Penny's Charlie being OUR Charlie... have you considered that maybe it's Widmore? Perhaps Des and Penny go back to the island along with "Charlie" and end up in the 1930's and end up dying or losing him, leaving him to be raised by the others. He then assumes his mom's maiden name (which he may already have as a kid) and later on gets someone pregnant who gives birth to Penny (his mother)... Creepy!
ReplyDeleteAnd another thing I came across is the fact that Locke, Walt and Aaron are all not raised by their parents. (And if my possible theory listed above is true, neither was Widmore)... some think Aaron or Walt are supposed to be the next leader. (The original post I read said Ben wasn't as well, but we know he was with his dad until the purge so I'm not sure this theory has a ton of merrit)
ReplyDeleteParent wise- Sawyer, eko (although dead) weren't raised by their parent's either. Walt was tho- He was raised by his mom and step dad.
ReplyDeleteAnother awesome theory about Charlie being Charles Widmore... :) 'You are your own grandfather' makes me think of a Futurama episode :)
I still think that all of the 'dead' people are being used by the island/jacob- just in different ways. Although it is pretty odd that the only 'visitors' we've seen in Jacobs cabin are Jack's family members... But, remember Jacob was using Christian Shepard as his image in the cabin... I think Miles is the only medium- but Hurley get's lost and confused a lot- which is why he's seeing the most of the 'dead' people- to help him. But, Jack and Kate have both seen 'dead' people off the island.
